www.mexarte.com was established over 15 years ago by Dennis McCann. All of the products on this site are Pre-Colombian (Mesoamerican) inspired and traditional Mexican arts and crafts. We have a website shopping cart for direct orders that can be paid for with any credit card or PayPal through our secure credit card processor Aurhorize.net. We have uncovered some of the best artisans and families throughout Mexico specializing, in most cased for generations, in specific categories.

Our products include replicas of Aztec, Maya and Olmec art, Aztec and Maya calendars of various materials and Mesoamerican ceramic figures. Our indigenous art replicas include Cuauhtémoc and Palenque heads, Eagle and Jaguar knight warriors, Teotihuacan masks, Maya Glyphs, Gods (Dioses), chocmools, sacrificial knives, and other indigenous art. We also have created our own line of Aztec, Maya and pre-Columbian jewelry using original designs and manufactured in Taxco.  Our Mexican jewelry line includes pendants, bracelets, necklaces, earrings, broaches, men’s jewelry, and unisex jewelry. This jewelry is handcrafted form Sterling Silver (.925) turquoise, malachite, mother of pearl, obsidian, sodalite, tiger eye and other semi-precious stone. We give generous discounts to our wholesale customers. Since we work directly with the artisans creating these products, our selection, quality control and prices cannot be matched. We are working hard to keep this mostly family tradition continuing into the future.

We also do custom orders. If you have a specific piece in mind or a picture of one, we can give you a quote using original materials and workmanship second to none. We do not deal in mass produced “tourist” items, only one of a kind replicas of museum quality art. The jewelry is created by master silversmiths in Taxco, the silver capital of Mexico.
